History of The Sussex Inn
The Sussex Inn......
It was Built in 1848 by Gabriel Coykendahl and it was orginially know as "Frank U. Dixon's Union House"
During the Civil War the Union House was used as Recruiting station for Union Soldiers, some of the famous people whom had stayed at the Inn are, Garret A Hobart. Whom was the vice president to William Mc Kinley in his first term.
